Recent events made me think back to when some adverts were seen on the sides of London buses. They directed you to a website, which said that atheists (well, those that "exchanged the truth of God for a lie"), and (of course) homosexuals, deserve to die.
A rather offensive message, some might say, myself included.
How did we, the Militant New Atheists respond?
Did we threaten the lives of those associated with the buses the ads were on?
Did we complain they were un-atheist?
Did we riot and kill people?
No. We got together, raised over £150,000 and made our own ads to express our own message.
You can't go through life with out getting offended, and, if you do - it's much better to attack the idea than those who hold it.
